Matthew Christopher is the Chief Executive Officer and Designer for Matthew Christopher, Inc., a bridal fashion house and manufacturer with headquarters in New York City and Iowa. Established in 2002, Matthew Christopher, Inc. creates designer bridal pieces that are carried in over 70 upscale bridal retail outlets in the United States.
Influenced as a child by bridal magazines at the local market in his native Iowa, Matthew Christopher still carries this winsome admiration and devotion to his brides that is evident throughout all of his designs. “I have always enjoyed meeting brides-to-be and hearing about their plans and visions” says Matthew “ Their stories have inspired my designs, and the excitement in their faces when they first see themselves in the dress of their dreams is matched by my own.”
In 2002, at the age of 25, Matthew Christopher created his own label after designing for several well-known bridal houses.
